I LOVE PRATA! especially on an empty stomach at 11.30 am in the morning with an appetite created by the impending visit of a close and familiar AUNT=) Well, abby and i decided to try out the tree top walk at MacRitchie and since we're going to that area...why not just drop by CASURINA CURRY for some delicious fried carbohydrates=)
(unknown to us, casurina was like hell far away and we had to take another bus and walk like crazy to go find it.) After searching through the maze of roads and traffic lights and asking a few...a LOT of directions from people we reached our trophy. Lured by the bright orange worded sign of the shop, we flew in like bees to a flower, devouring every item on the menu in our minds. Finally, we decided on plain prata and paper prata for me and Cheese mushroom for her. Any fool would have told you that THIS WAS ENOUGH! But fools we were and since i commented that i had never seen murtabak before we decided to share one as well. Confidently ordering our pratas we had only awhile to wait before SIN was served to us on a silver platter with his companion CURRY. Even before we finised our prata, the full feeling was creeping up on us. Despite it, we attempted to finish one 1/4 or the murtabak each, packing away the rest. We left on a full stomach.
Lesson learn: Greed is something to be laughed at. As long as its not happening to you.
Sin#2-I shalt not irritate them anymore
In a few weeks time, my beloved BABY and my way less beloved ESMONDE is going to sit for their prelims. In FOUR months time, these 2 are about to sit for their A levels. I'm gonna help them=) I suppose I ain't got the smarts to teach em but I'm going to try to make life easier for them by:
a)not asking em to entertain me
b)not tempting them with movie outings
c)not randomly mention the magic word MAHJONG
d)not be overly demanding of their rightful attentions to me=p
e)BE A DAMN GOOD GIRLFRIEND and friend to them( listen more,talk less)
I already feel so bad asking em out today, even though they had one day of school already and were very tired=( , and ended up watching ?HANCOCK? which had a rather interesting plot, but NO STORY DEVELOPMENT and Will Smith had the same style of acting as he did in the better I AM LEGEND. But still, had to admit that i enjoyed the movie...toa certain larger extent=) But i had my fill of fun and now its time for this over heated-jittery molecule to finally retire and settle down, be less flighty and BE A BESTEST GF/FRIEND. To everyone else taking As and Os this year:
GOOD LUCK PEOPLE! Short time torture is nothing compared to a LIFETIME GAIN ( and rewards from your stunned grinning parents when you nonchalently yawn and show them 4 or 6 As, as many as you can add to that number=))
REDEMPTION #1- I have walked a thousand miles
OK... i was exaggerating... i only walked for about 11+ km from MacRitchie reservior to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve! Yay! It was real fun. Abby and i wanted to see the treetop walk and got cheated by it
grrr. We climbed HIGH and LOW and FAR and WIDE and ended up at a treetop trail that was only bout 150m long in the trees and the rest was... TADAAA!!!... forested enclosed area again. It was kinda hard to walk but the end point was the best. Feeling fatigue and heat closing in on us we stumbled upon a rich people estate where the houses we bigger than my toilet and the pools bigger than my sink. Oh MY GOD! it was gorgeous!!! the gardens were bigger then my ASS and some houses even had WATER FALLS, bigger then my shower head, installed! yikes! lol. ABBY plans to attack on of these houses by hooking up with a guy from there. Preferably someone with a brain that will not squander away his rightful inheritance. I for one, am contented with my loving BABY, who would do anything to give me what i want. HELLO WORLD! BE JEALOUS=) lol i love him!
OK... so my day was about like that and simple mathematics will tell you that 2 negative plus one postive = one negative. Now i gotta figure out a way to redeem myself further. CIAO!
